Pitch raise - this is often required when the piano has not been tuned regularly over a period of time. The correct concert pitch for a piano is 440 hertz.
Over the years a piano can collect much debris so it is important for the parts of your piano to be maintained by a periodic clean every 5 to 10 years.

Some Piano repair jobs can be carried out on site for example replacing broken strings, for larger jobs the piano action (mechanism) will be taken into the workshop. Regulating and key covering jobs also undertaken.

Hi, I'm Kate.
I have been a classroom teacher and music coordinator for 20 years before moving towards becoming a professional musician and peripatetic music teacher working for Cornwall Music Service Trust. I have graduated from ‘The Piano Tuner Academy’ working under the academically acclaimed Robert King becoming a fully certified tuner and technician. I am adult and child CRB checked.
